So I came up with this idea. Im not sure how original it is but but I like it. I started this blog to talk about music and then I thought about this. I want to get a bunch of people to create blogs just to talk about music. I understand that there are forums to talk about specific bands and there is usually a section to talk about "other bands", which is great but in this case I want peope to follow each others musicblogs. Talk and share your ideas about music. Review bands, shows, artists, albums. Share playlists, live videos, unsigned bands. I just want to create a community that is about the music and create an atmosphere where you can share the music you love with the world. So please try it out
If you're interested, create a free blog on this site and leave your url in the comments so I and others can start following you and you do the same.

Taylor Swift
I LOVE Taylor Swift. She is such an incredible writer, especially for being as young as she is. She is the "every girl". Every girl can relate to her, she seems attainable and makes every fan feel genuinely appreciated. She makes herself reachable with her video blogs and makes sure fans know that she is just a kid like the majority of her fans.
As a writer she is astounding to me. At such a young age she is able to capture the honesty and realness that artists search for years to be able to accomplish. She isnt afraid to call ex's out and she isnt afraid to let fans know that she had no friends at one point in her life. Every girl can relate to the problems and situations that she talks about. From boy troubles to friend troubles. And she does all this with out sounding like shes complaining.
Songs from s/t to check out:
-I'm only me when im with you
-our song
-picture to burn
-shoudve said no
-stay beautiful
-tied together with a smile
songs from fearless to check out:
-you belong with me
-breathe
-youre not sorry
-tell me why
-fearless
-change

Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers get alot of shit, they are a love or hate kind of group. As of lately I'm not such a huge Jonas Brothers fan. I don't appreciate the way they seemed to just try to get the #1 spot with their movie, instead of being appreciative that anyone would want to see a concert movie with them. Maybe fame is getting to their head? They just seem like different people.. Maybe theyre growing up, i Dont know. I also wasnt a huge fan of a little bit longer. i do love their self titled album though.
Songs from s/t to check out:

The Starting Line
The Starting Line is one of my favorite bands of all time and I miss them dearly and wish theyd get back together.
The thing I love the most about The Starting Line is their ability to grow as band without alienating their fans. So many artists put out new albums and it ends up alienating the people that were fans of their previous album. The Starting Line were able to grow and evolve with every album flawlessly. They managed to keep themselves at the same level with their fans while still growing. They continued growing with out leaving "older" fans feeling isolated, and thats really hard to do.. kudos.

My thoughts on music is simple..
I want to hear everything I possibly can, and even if I don't like it I want to know it.
I truly do love music. Pop music especially.
The first album I ever bought myself was Backstreet Boys-'Millenium' when i was 9 or 10. I basically credit them for my love for music. They were the first band that I got into on my own, the first artist i believed in, and the reason i fell in love with pop music. I still listen to them everyday to be honest. There is something about still loving a band almost 9 years after fallling in love with them that is incomparable. Although 'Millenium' was the first album i bought, i believe that 'Black and Blue' was their greatest album. It has so much attitude and feeling in everysong. And here's the thing about the Backstreet Boys, they are one of the few artists that ive ever seen that still display such a love for what they do, and the fans that they have. Watch any Backstreet Boys live videos on youtube, they are so obviously in love with what they do and care so much for the people that got them where they are now. And that's impossible not to respect. They dont need to care about fans at this point, but they do.
-The reason i have created this blog is because i wanted an outlet to share my passion for music. I'm going to school to become a music journalist, i did my graduation project on songwriting, i go to shows and concerts, and i really want to share what i love with other people.
music is something i believe can change the world and save people's lives..and i want to be apart of that in someway..because there are songs that have saved my life and changed my world.
